Affiliate disclosure
Last updated 20 August 2026
We are an independent publisher of training guides. Some of the links on this site are affiliate links, meaning that at no cost to you, we may earn a small commission if you click through and make a purchase.
What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link carries a tracking code. If you follow one and later buy something, the merchant pays us a percentage. You pay exactly what you would have paid otherwise — the commission comes out of the merchant's margin, not out of your pocket.
Where they appear
Wherever a guide mentions a specific product or service, assume the link may be an affiliate link. Any page carrying one shows a disclosure directly alongside the link, before you click it, and the site-wide disclosure appears in the footer of every page.
How this affects what we write
It does not. Concretely:
- We do not accept payment for a positive mention, a ranking position, or a review score.
- Commission rate is never a criterion when we decide what to recommend.
- Where the honest answer is "you do not need to buy anything", that is what a guide says.
- If we cannot recommend something, we leave it out or explain why — we do not quietly link it anyway.
The reasoning behind any recommendation is set out in our editorial policy.
Programmes we participate in
List each affiliate programme here by name once you join it, along with any specific wording that programme requires. Several networks mandate exact disclosure language as a condition of membership, and failing to display it can cost you the account.
Advertising
We may also run paid advertising to bring people to these guides, and may display ads. Ad placement is separated from editorial: an advertiser cannot buy a mention inside a guide.
Questions
